Living in the Northwestern corner of Lower Michigan where winters are long and sometimes dreary can be tough for someone who has a constant battle with depression. Around 1:00 in the afternoon I am wondering if it is too soon to break out the wine! Like most Michiganders we live here because it is home, it is where our roots are. And because it is truly a beautiful place to live!
I so badly want to gather with like-minded women and create beauty, drink wine (or tea), laugh (and cry too), and share ideas. I don’t want to sit and talk about politics and religion or whine about the negatives in life. I just want to celebrate life. Opening the shop doors for classes and gatherings is my way of welcoming other women to share their creative ideas, to create a nurturing environment for us to gather.
Attempting to come up with a name for these gatherings is not difficult, for there are so many wonderfully descriptive titles to choose from! I love the word camaraderie (comradery) and its definition: spirit of friendship and community, warm feelings of closeness, mutual trust and loyalty. I would love to hear your ideas. Please share them in the comment section with me! Much love 😘 Teri
